Luna's Starry Night by Muffyn-Man Luna's Starry Night by Muffyn-Man
I was going to release this after Las Pegasus Unicon, and after it gets signed by Tabitha St. Germain, but the story to getting her signature on here was too heartbreaking to put here on the description.

If you've been watching me you know that I've been trying to post a Luna deviation for some time now, but after the first attempt I wasn't pleased with the her line-work. I later got the idea of using a similar pose to the FF6 summon, Fenrir (Google image search if you don't know). Then, I didn't know what else to do for background, until I saw "Sleepless in Ponyville". Now what connection can I make to her about being in a dream? If I could do that, Im pretty sure I can tie the whole picture together. Hmmmmmmmm...

Materials list: Copic Markers, Copic Multiliner, and Acrylic Paint on Bristol Board.

* Because I forgot to mention this on Luna's description, here's a link to my depiction of her sister: [link]
Hope you give her as much love as Luna

Don't quite know what you mean by shading. Are you referring to the shading on Luna's Body and Hair, or are you referring to the background? Either way, I guess the simplest answer would be the materials that I used. All of my color pony pictures are done with Copic marker and acrylic paint. (If you watch CutieArtCrusaders on youtube, the markers are the same ones that Frostykat uses.) The markers are very good at blending depending on the paper that you use, but they aren't perfect. To fix the sharpness or lack of specific colors to use, I switch to acrylic paint .

I know this was quite the long winded comment, but I felt that I the question was a little vague, so I hope I answered it somehow. Thanks for showing interest in my work.
