Description

Probably one of the hardest photos I've taken, and I still don't feel it's the best photo of this subject that I could have pulled off. This is literally just an abandoned telephone booth in the middle of a random field. Camera couldn't pull off the lighting that was necessary to appreciate this, so I did photoshop the lighting a bit. I'll probably make another attempt at this some other time when the opportunity arrises again.

It still looks nice, even with the shadows there. I've always had a thing for telephone booths, and the darkness only emphasizes its desolate figure. Wonder if this empty field used to have infrastructure or was part of a roadside village long time ago? It seems odd that there would be a telephone booth where there wouldn't be any people, though I suppose hitchhikers or some wandering soul could have used it to communicate with the rest of the world.
