Hello, konbanwa, shalom, gesundheit, sup?
How are you followers new and seasoned? As you can probably tell by now I've been uploading a shit ton of photographs, and next to no illustrations. Its been a long time coming and I have been busy. Now, Im not trying to make up an excuse like, "#reallifeprobs" or some shit. No, Fuck that! I'm still an artist, and a traditional one at that! I have imaginary life problems... yeah that was a bad joke, but hanging fruit can only hang so low before it slaps you across the forehead. Back on topic.
As of recently, I've been training myself to become an animator. Yeah, go figure, the one job that everyone does digitally nowadays. I'm still traditional, and I'll have proof of such feats when the my short but sweet flash animation is released. "But Muffyn-Man, Flash is a fucking computer program." Yeah, that's why my good friend and all around agreeable individual EastBeast is doing the digital coloring and special effects. All of the frames in this animation, have and will be, done in pencil sketches on OG Acme Standard peg hole-punched parchment. All of it!!! Not to mention this is my first animation ever, like I've never even done a flip book before. So as you can see, it will take some time to polish the surface and soften the edges. We're making good progress, but there's still a lot to learn for both of us as we work on this little short. In fact my latest upload is a preview of what's to come:
1. On another topic; To my followers during my Pony Days of Yore. I'm still working on it, don't worry bout it. I made good on the last suggested pony character pole that I posted wwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay long ago. Not to mention I still have plans to create another Celestia piece in the hopefully not so distant future. Despite the praise that I received for Impression, Celestia, I don't feel that I accomplished what I set out to do. In fact, I feel like I kinda hacked it pretty badly. Don't worry though, all will be made clear when I figure out how to pull off some visual textures with copics. I think I pulled that off a bit with Commission: Pinkie's Starry Night, but I need it to feel tactile. Ok enough ranting. I am still doing pony work, but I have to take a break from personal pieces to focus on how to animate. My only exception to my animation work right now would be commissions, which are dead in the water right now I'm afraid. Or not, it's not like I'm leaving altogether.
So fret not followers of MLP and I. I still have some magic under my sleeve and visions in my head.
2. Now to all those who follow my anime work. First of all thanks for watching me, I haven't been very popular on here for it since DA is flooded with many other artists who do the same thing as me, only better, and more efficient, which can be said about most of my work on here, and have better equipment, and went to school for this particular format. That was depressing. Anyways thank you thank you thank you. I'm glad that I could get your attention even if for a couple random fanart pics in my gallery. As you can tell from the poorly scanned teaser to my upcoming joint collaberation, I've got big plans on the horizon. Stay with me as I may or may not post more random anime pics in the near/distant/unforseeable future. Keep in mind I still take commissions for any style not just MLP if you ever felt so inclined.
3. Finally to those who follow me for my photos. Thanks. Thanks and wow. I'm certainly not some kind of brooding Kino-Oki with a world to explore and a story to tell. Well, actually, explore and story are true, but all of the photos that I take are done on my phone. Camera phones have certainly come a long way from previous iterations, but its still a program that lacks the traditinal camera basics that make photography an artform to begin with. No Aperture or Shutter Speed adjustments, its sad but true. So thanks for following me regardless, I post photos once a month only so that I don't feel like I've neglected my other work.
Alright everybody thats all. Next time I post a journal, I'll hopefully have upgraded back again. Take care and remember, Art can only be called art if you treat it as such.

Current Commission Situation and Life Situation
Hello to all who keep up with my submissions; those who have started watching me recently as well as those who have watched me for over a decade. Don't worry, this isn't some goodbye to my profile, but I do want to let everyone know about my current situation in regards to uploads.
As of this year I will be starting a new, full-time job in a Sonoma Valley Winery. At the same time, I am also going back to College for Enology and Viticulture (Winemaking and Grape Growing). This is a new undertaking for me and it will take up quite a lot of my time and energy. It may be years until I decide to open up my commission slots again. So as of
Commissions open from Dec.1st - Feb.25th
So the Wine Harvest is finally done and over with for me, so as you can already imagine its time for commissions. I am trying to raise some money for a very important trip soon so this time around I may be willing to take on a few small fry commissions here-and-there so long as they don't interfere with any larger bodies of work. Keep in mind, I haven't done any real artwork for over 5 months now, so I will have to ease myself into this process again. That being said, BRING ME YOUR OC'S!!!
I'll be perfectly honest with you, If you do decide to patron me, I need you to put a lot of faith in me for your commissions. To anyone w
New Job, New Plans, More Bullshit
Been a while hasn't it? As most of you who will be reading this are no doubt asking yourself, "Who the fuck is this dude, and when did I even follow him?", I have a helpful reminder. I'm the guy who occasionally uploads some decent pony art for people who pay me, and uploads a random artsy photo every other month. Aside from that I'm just a grown-ass man trying to pursue a life of accomplishment in an industry with more bullshit in it than New York's Contemporary Art Scene.
I'm talking about Wine, and beginning again in September, I will be taking a long awaited trip to Oregon for a temporary position as a Winery Cellar Worker. As
Season Finale (just about ready)
Holy shit, I've been out of the loop since August and it shows in my skills. I've worked as a Wine Cellar Worker since August and we recently wrapped things up on October 20th. Let me tell you, I've never learned so much or felt so accomplished on a professional level as the time I have spent as a Cellar Worker. I mean, other than the work that I create and post on here that is. There's something about this rather thankless job that makes you feel like a secret badass when you leave work and see a bunch of frilly winos going at your product. Most people don't know what goes into making wine, and I can tell you that its a few things. It takes
